Project Reclamation

A Healing Initiative  For Worn Torn Communities within the UK & MENA Region

We need qualified volunteers who have empathy for trauma survivors. While experience with children is a plus, it is not mandatory. Prospective volunteers will undergo a taster session and official onboarding process with the Women's Consortium, including safeguarding training and background checks. Support for volunteers includes DBS checks, online safeguarding training, interpreters, and SIM cards. While this is initially unpaid, the project aims to secure funding for volunteer compensation in the future.

Thank you

Project Reclamation is a collaborative effort between SimplyInnerWorks, WYK Empower, and Women’s Consortium, aimed at providing holistic and conventional therapy services to marginalised and war-torn communities in the UK and the MENA region. Our initiative focuses on fostering healing and reconnection to one's body and ancestral lands, addressing collective and individual trauma, and challenging toxic behavioural patterns.

We are reclaiming our sovereignty, dignity, sense of belonging, freedom of expression, and shared respect for ourselves, our communities, and everyone involved. Grounded in principles of social justice and unity, Project Reclamation seeks to dissolve barriers created by Western narratives and reclaim sovereignty and dignity. We work with communities affected by war and oppression, particularly in Gaza, Sudan, and Congo.

Our project offers a diverse range of therapeutic practices, including breathwork, meditation, NLP, psychotherapy, and yoga, delivered online to ensure accessibility.

We need volunteers!
